I grew up when glasses weren’t cool.
And party/fake/no lenses glasses didn’t exist.
Hard for me to say which world I prefer.
(Although, nowadays I do have a few awesome pairs of glasses.)

It’s WEDNESDAY! And I haven’t done one of these in a while. I also have new red lipstick.
Obviously, I’m a wee bit bored. I am trying to patiently wait for David’s old Boy Scout buddy and his girl. We’re supposed to dine with them, but they should have called us by 7:30 p.m. I am fully aware it’s only 7:50 p.m. or so.
I just keep thinking about all the other tasks I need to complete. Like schoolwork. Or reading. Or more schoolwork. I also must finally clear away all of my bric-a-brac that still litters the living room floor. Whine, whine, whine.
Killing two birds with one stone here. THANK YOU to Kathy for sending this housewarming gift. I figured it was from you after I saw my name on the package as “Vajaena.” And look, new glasses! Again! My friend Maria wanted me to take a photo.
